I decided to stay in to pack my apartment but in the end I couldn't resist the Scottish Summer.
It was 24 degrees today (UNREAL) so I had to go out!

Anyway, this is what I wore to Tesco.
Errmm, not too sure about the skirt.
I'm such a fashion failure in summer.

Quick update:

1) I'm finally done with exams and in less than 3 weeks I'll be back in Asia! :D

2)The summer holiday officially started with post-exam celebratory drinks at the Dome with Issey and Sarah followed by aimless wandering around Princes Street.

The Dome in George Street
The Chinese Room
The heavenly ladies roomThe washrooms are unreal! It has been reported by Edinburgh News that a recent upgrade on the ladies and men's rooms set the Dome back 6 figures in BRITISH POUNDS(at least 10 million pesos) . Boscolo, a bathroom specialist, was commissioned to carry out the luxury refit. The toilet features a crystal chandelier and each cubicle has its own individual etched Venetian mirror. That is, in addition to the 3 in front of the wash basins. The walls, on the other hand, are covered with embroidered silk that extend to the window curtains.
*sigh, I can only wish that my future house will be half as sushal as this ba
ño.

3) Currently obsessed with these 'strass' sunglasses I got from Primark a week ago when Sarah and I went to Glasgow. I know they're a tad tawdry but that's kinda why I love them

close-up of the sunglasses and my belt set against my Bal

top: religioso, checkered skirt: thrifted, jeweled leather belt: oasis, sunglasses: primark, bag: balenciaga, necklaces from Japan and Greenhills, shoes: not in picture because i just scrubbed my floor and I want to keep it as germ free for as long as i possibly can

Mooching with Mills

HM dress, cotton on sunnies, sm houndstooth cropped cardi, clarks shoes, jul dizon cuff, vintage loewe bag,

Mooching with Mills involved:
-almost riding a random bus just for kicks
-going 10 times round and round the electric door at Debenhams
- editing breasty's wardrobe
these sad dilapidated leaf sandal things just HAD to go
and styling some of the things she has stopped wearing
werq-it
-having the most disastrous meal at Barca which is an overpriced fluff of a restaurant that had a great ambiance but shite food. admittedly though, we were being pretty terrible customers too..like we took ages to decide on a seat and finally sat at the worst area possible, rearranged the table setting so we could be nearer to each other, asked if the meals could be modified to a vegetarian option for sarah and finally deciding not to have it, complained about the uncooked paella and taking forever to decide what to replace it with.
we definitely had spit on our meal.
spit paella.
- taking over Primark. Sarah going crazy and buying everything in sight 15 minutes before the store closed. Me exercising restraint and buying only a black cashmere cardigan (uh, let's hope it wont start falling apart after 2 wears!the tag said 100% pure cashmere...somehow im doubting that that is not a lie) and a gaudy rhinestone encrusted pair of sunglasses reminiscent of those lanvins that i cant afford.
- being given free ice cream at burger king by the nice indian man who struggled to find spoons -getting trapped on a train talking about bogeys and pus for about an hour when suddenly all the lights went off. then finally realizing we had gone on the wrong train because mills had looked at the arrivals schedule instead of the departures.
we are lurvely.

If there is one thing you can do for me today,
it's to vote vote vote for Rosanna in this week's style star!
WHY?
because her wardrobe is amazing (I can vouch for this)
because her sense of style kicks-ass (You can vouch for this)
and simply because she is one of the most clever, kind-hearted, and grounded people you will ever come across (the WORLD can vouch for this!!)<-- Nothing related to style but it's nice to vote for a nice person.

so don't just vote once, don't just vote twice, vote a million times for my little star!!!! ;D

vintage floral blazer, custom made silver brocade dress, ARANAZ clutch, bangles and rings from BKK

I finally got to wear this dress I had made ages ago!
It's a really simple dress made from some leftover fabric that I found in the factory.

Oh..really random/weird story about this outfit.
It was the outfit I had a dream about a few nights ago.
So I decided to recreate it the next day. Hahaha!

Im a face product addict and this photograph is evidence of it. Believe me, I've tried everything from La Prairie, Lancome, Skinceuticals to all the pharmaceuticals ointments sold in the chemist. Over the years, I've pretty much stuck with Avene and Dermalogica though because my skin is hypersensitive and these two brands are perfect since they offer products that are non-comedogenic, fragrance-free and dermatologically tested. Ocassionally, I also use Mario Badescu if I get a spot (Drying Lotion) or Aloe Vera Gel.

Obviously, I don't use everything everyday.
If I did, I would never manage to leave the apartment.

PS. Dont forget to leave your links either here or on the post before this! :D

A bit of a blah outfit to match the very blah state i am in right now.

I've been living in this grey t-shirt and black bandage skirt the entire week because I've been stuck indoors revising for the dreaded exams I have to take on wednesday.
At this point I'm just hoping for two things:
1) that feminism/postcolonialism comes up in the essay questions and
2)that my 50+ year old ancient professor who I have a legit crush on won't proctor for the exams.
(i. need. to. concentrate.)

*PS. exciting news: i am now the proud owner of a lumix camera! i cant wait for june (when i get back to manille) so i can finally use it and say bye to gross photos forever.
